Lily’s Christening Day
As I mentioned on my Instagram a while ago, we had Lily baptised right before Christmas on the 22ndDecember! Living abroad, Christmas seemed like the perfect time to gather both our families for such a special occasion. We had the most wonderful, fun filled day surrounded by our nearest and dearest. I feel so unbelievably blessed to be this girls Mama and she is one lucky lady to be surrounded by so many people that love and adore her!
This day was not only a celebration of faith, but also a chance for us to gather both our families together for the first time since her arrival and in some way thank them all for everything they have done for us since she was born. We had such a fun day celebrating our little girl, and I am so in love with these stunning photos by the wonderful Tanya of Eden Photography! If you are even half-thinking of having a professional to photograph your baby’s baptism/ naming ceremony, I say do it! It’s so worth the investment. Tanya was such a pleasure to work with and managed to capture the day beautifully, I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough.

Christening gown & bonnet: I had really wanted her to wear our family heirloom gown that I was baptised in 33 years ago, but it was too small unfortunately so I needed to find an alternative. Knowing she’d be in it for max 30 mins, we didn’t want to spend a fortune and this dress I found was a total barg! Surprisingly great quality and beautifully detailed.
